Six knife attack victims over weekend

FIVE men — including a relative of the man who stood trial for the notorious ‘House of Horrors’ killings in Cork — and one woman were stabbed in five knife attacks over the weekend.

In one incident yesterday morning, a man suffered serious stomach wounds when he was stabbed during a mugging.

And two youths were badly beaten in a savage unprovoked attack in Cork also early yesterday.
