GARDAÍ investigating the death of a 50-year-old homeless man in Tralee, Co Kerry have begun interviewing a number of people who were close to the scene and were captured on CCTV footage.

However, Supt Pat Sullivan, who is heading the investigation, yesterday said other people who were in the area at the time of the incident early on Tuesday had not yet come forward.

“We’re particularly anxious to talk to people who were in the Abbey Inn, which is close to the scene, before, during and after the incident to come forward,” he said.
