Old terminal not on the agenda, says Cork Airport

Michael Cawley, the airline’s deputy chief executive, said yesterday that if allowed to operate from the old terminal, Ryanair would base more planes in Cork and could increase its passenger throughput from 900,000 to two million.

He warned, however, that if the airport authority increased its charges, in an effort to pay off an estimated €200 million debt, Ryanair would review its options and probably reduce its Cork services.
