Exhibition will attract children to science

The announcement was made yesterday by Minister Michael Martin who said that as part of National Science Week ‘Discovery 2006’ will be held in Cork City Hall from November 14-16.

Minister Martin said that many diverse organisations would be supporting the exhibition which will focus on presenting science, engineering and technology in an exciting, interactive environment. The aim is to get students to think about a related career, which is essential to the Government’s strategy to encourage more to take up work in such professions.
