THE Samaritans have warned Leaving Certificate students not to bottle up anxieties over their results which are due next Wednesday.

More than 55,300 students will be hoping to secure sufficient grades for 38,000 CAO places at colleges and universities, more than 20,000 Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) vacancies and 7,000 apprenticeships in the coming weeks.

The Samaritans said students will be experiencing several emotions which volunteers are trained to deal with.
