AN IRISH company has secured a third contract with the British Government to build houses for less than €87,750.

Monaghan-based Kingspan came up with the new home idea following a British Government competition to get developers to provide affordable accommodation.

The enterprising firm won after showing how its insulated panels can be assembled to create a energy-efficient Scandinavian-style home for less than £60,000.
