‘You made each and every one of us smile’

TWO friends of murdered teenager Sheola Keaney bravely expressed what so many of her friends and relatives were feeling as they sat at her funeral Mass yesterday.

Introduced simply as Lynn and Alexandra, they stood before the 1,000 mourners in Cobh Cathedral and gave an intimate and touching account of what the 19-year-old had brought to each of their lives.

Lynn’s voice broke several times as she talked of her friend’s huge personality and passion for shopping. She also offered kind words to Sheola’s parents, Peter and Carol, for the person they had raised.
