THE contents of Limerick’s Jesuit Church, which closed over two weeks ago, were auctioned off yesterday.

Auctioneer John Dunphy disposed of nearly 700 lots at his auction rooms in Sixmilebridge.

An Irish Regency Serving table fetched in excess of €30,000 and religious paintings by Limerick artist, Michael J Hartmann, also attracted strong bidding.
