THE full-scale of the benchmarking bonanza for public servants has been laid bare for the first time.

With wage hikes touching the 60% mark since 2001 it is now clear they have not only caught up with the private sector counterparts but left many of them for dead in the slow lane as the State payroll juggernaut thunders on down the salary expressway.
