ALMOST eight out of 10 women aged between 34 and 44 years are unconcerned about their ability to have a child, new research reveals.

This is despite international evidence showing that 30% of women in the age group fail to conceive their first child within a year.

And with women wanting to get their career sorted first, more are leaving it later to start a family.
