THE final maths exam came for thousands of students who sat the Leaving Certificate second papers yesterday morning.

TUI spokesperson Andy Carolan said the ordinary-level questions were a bit long, with too many sub-sections in many.

He said it was fair overall, despite being challenging, and the use of shaded diagrams was positive.
