Developer faces probe over phone claims

GARDAÍ are investigating whether a millionaire property developer has illegally accessed the mobile phones of other business people.

The man has been interviewed by detectives for allegedly intercepting messages on the mobile phone of a business woman in Dublin.

The type of phone-tapping being investigated is a relatively simple procedure whereby you ring a person’s mobile phone number and then key in a four-digit password to listen to their voice messages.
