CIT crosses rubicon with business incubation unit

EVERY institute of technology will have a business incubation unit on its campus by the end of the year.

Minister for Enterprise, Micheál Martin, made the comment yesterday at the official opening of Cork Institute of Technology’s Rubicon Centre — a business incubation centre that is home to 13 hi-tech companies providing employment for almost 60 people.

The 4 million CIT and Enterprise Ireland-funded development began operations in February. It is already full.
