Rabbitte vows crackdown on ‘profiteering’ firms

A CRACKDOWN on “profiteering” management companies, who rip off first-time buyers with shoddy services, was last night promised by Labour leader Pat Rabbitte.

Exorbitant charges were being demanded by some firms, he said, for inadequate services.

He also claimed councillors were complicit in the rip-off as they were keen to dump housing estates into private hands.
