Travellers’ boycott of €2m centre ‘extortionist’

TRAVELLER families were yesterday branded “extortionists” by a junior minister over their boycott of a €2 million purpose-built accommodation centre in Limerick.

Seven Traveller families are refusing to move into the halting site at Castletroy because it has no stabling for horses.

The development was completed five months ago by a local authority.
