ADS for children’s bedclothes branded with the Playboy logo and offered for sale by Argos have been stripped by the advertising standards authority.

An ad for bedding in an Argos catalogue was the subject of a successful objection to the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland. The complainant considered it inappropriate for articles branded with the Playboy logo to be marketed to children and the ASAI agreed.

A television advertisement for Domino’s Pizza Cheese Steak Melt was also the subject of an objection.
