Fans hip-hop hooray as College Dropout Kanye to drop in at Marquee

HIP-HIP icon Kanye West is coming south this summer.

The Chicago-born DJ, producer and rapper was confirmed yesterday as one of the headline acts at the Live at the Marquee series in Cork, which kicks off in June.

Promoter Peter Aiken announced that the chart-topping 28 year-old, who has sold more than 10 million copies of his debut album, The College Dropout, will perform his only Irish gig this summer in Cork on Sunday, July 2.
