Union proposals submitted for Beaumont

IMPACT and SIPTU are to put proposals to management to avoid over 60 planned redundancies at Beaumont Convalescent Home in North Dublin.

The two unions held an emergency general meeting of their members in the home yesterday, after management announced it was to sack over 60 staff.

The unions will meet management and employers’ body IBEC on April 15.
