All I want for Christmas is some mortgage-tax relief

CATHERINE PHILLIPS is on the verge of moving into her first home this Christmas.

The house in question has two bedrooms and a back garden and was previously owned by an old lady.

“I wanted an older house I could do up and make my own. Maybe it’s a wee bit more work than I would like, but it does fit the picture that I had,” she said.
