It has also emerged that Fianna Fáil's proposed changes to constituencies were adopted in significant numbers by the independent body responsible for setting the boundaries.

The extraordinary dispute between the Ahern brothers over the boundary between the Taoiseach's Dublin Central constituency and the Junior Minister's constituency of Dublin North-West are revealed in submissions to the Constituency Commission.
