Eva's family still grieve nine years later

EVA Brennan's disappearance was unspectacular. A daily visitor to her parent's home for lunch, she walked out the front door in July, 1993 after a minor row and has not been seen since.

This week the gardaí renewed their appeal for the Dublin woman, who turns 40 on Sunday, August 4. The renewed attention on the case has opened old wounds. Her family still hope Eva is alive, but fear she is dead.

Her sister Colette is more forthright. For about five years after Eva went missing, Colette held out some hope of finding Eva alive, but not any more.
