A SURVEY of rural voters shows 43% will vote Yes in the Nice Referendum, compared with 28.7% voting No.

Nice Treaty gaining ground with rural voters, says survey

The survey, carried out over three days at the National Ploughing championships in Laois last week, found 17.5% of rural voters were undecided as to how they’ll vote.

A further 10.6% would not say how they intended to vote. The survey was conducted for the RTÉ programme Ear to the Ground.
