Tourist town’s sea wall to be restored

FOR several years the sea wall at Youghal’s Front Strand in Co Cork has become less resistant to the ravages of the elements.

Beleaguered residents close by have faced a constant threat of flooding.

Youghal Town Council have finally won a long-running battle with Cork County Council and the Government for funding for a major coastal protection programme.
