McDowell vows gardaí will hunt down gang bosses

GANG bosses were yesterday told no effort would be spared to hunt them down.

Justice Minister Michael McDowell yesterday insisted gardaí had the resources to deal with the recent upsurge in gangland murders and shootings.

“What I say to criminals is your day will come, because justice may be delayed in some cases, but it won’t be denied,” Minister McDowell said. “People engaged in this will come before the courts, they will be tracked down and will be brought to justice.”
