Baby Finn Johnson’s clean winner
Which explains the huge response when a nationwide search for the 2005 champion was announced earlier this year.
After the adults settled down, it was Finn Clancy, from Drogheda, Co Louth, who toddled away with the honours.
His win, of course, came as no surprise to adoring parents Darryl Clancy and Grace Clarke, whose first-born picked up the victor’s bouquet and the hamper of goodies.
Finn got the nod from the judges, including photographer Robert Doyle and model agent Julian Fallon from 1st Option Models - and they know star quality when they see it.
“With so many beautiful babies to chose from, it was very difficult to pick a winner,” said Robert.
Turning on the charm that comes naturally when you’re seven months old, Finn impressed the judges with his “bright eyes and winning smile”.
Over 600 entries were received in just four weeks for the Johnson’s Baby competition to mark the 70th year of the company’s arrival in Ireland.
And how the Johnson’s “baby” has grown in this country - from modest beginnings it now encompasses seven companies and 1,400 employees.
