Family mourns as tsunami victim laid to rest

THE third Irish victim of the Indian Ocean tsunami was laid to rest yesterday after an agonising four-month wait by her heartbroken family.

Lucy Coyle, a 28-year-old accountant from Killiney, Co Dublin, was buried in nearby Shanganagh Cemetery after a funeral Mass attended by hundreds of her relatives and friends.

Lucy was on the missing list for over three months after the Princess Resort on Koh Phi Phi island in Thailand was destroyed by the tsunami of December 26 last.
