Insurance available against being injured in holiday terrorist attacks

IRISH people can now avail of up to €6.35 million insurance cover against being injured in terrorist attacks while on holidays.

The new policy, launched jointly by Bank of Ireland and the British Post Office, is believed the first of its type in Europe and is available for as little as 57.77 per year.

A year’s cover on foreign holidays includes treatment on the spot or transport to another country for further medical care, plus the cost of a travelling companion, if required.
