Green light for Bellacorick wind farm may cause electric storm in Mayo
The 300 million wind farm at Bellacorick, which will provide power to homes in the region for 20 years, has been given the green light by An Bord Pleanála.
The plant is being developed by Bord na Móna and the ESB subsidiary, Hibernian Wind Energy (HWE).
