THE rush for new homes in the mid-west is moving away from the hustle and bustle.

People from all over the country are queuing up to move into Ireland’s first eco-village, which is being developed at Cloughjordan in north Tipperary.

The promoters say it will be a return to village life, with all the advantages of the 21st century.
