Don't use Nice for political point, says Ahern

That was the message from the Taoiseach yesterday as he said a Yes vote in the referendum will be a vote for jobs, economic growth and security of Ireland's future.

"To use the referendum on the Nice Treaty to make a party political point would be a case of cutting off one's make a party political point would be a case of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face," Mr Ahern said.
