THE deputy head of a service provider for people with learning disabilities strongly denied yesterday that a culture of bullying existed there.

St Michael’s House deputy chief executive Patricia Doherty told the Employment Appeals Tribunal that she “completely refuted” allegations made by a senior clinical psychologist.

Dr Mark Harrold, who resigned his post in 2004 and is taking a constructive dismissal case against the Dublin-based organisation, claims that he was bullied out of his job.
