HOW a woman died after waiting 12 hours for medical help is to be the subject of a special Health Service Executive (HSE) inquiry.

Mother-of-five Margaret Courtney, who was 37 and from Laytown, Co Meath, was suffering from a rare form of pneumonia.

She died at home last Thursday and her devastated husband Tom said he would not rest until he found out why no one came out to examine her.
