BUSINESS chiefs said yesterday it would be economic suicide if budgetary constraints were allowed to delay key road projects in the €50 billion National Development Plan.

Friends First group chief economist Jim Power yesterday highlighted the fact that just 30 kilometres of the planned 711 kilometres on five inter-urban routes had been completed so far under the roads programme.
