Painting a picture of innocence

“WATCH those paintings, I want them back,” shouted Conrad Gallagher as a court official walked past with one of the abstract pieces.

The 32-year-old, yesterday acquitted of stealing the three Felim Egan paintings from the Fitzwilliam Hotel, is planning to apply to the district court for their return.

Mr Gallagher claims the paintings are his despite admitting to gardaí they were not his to sell.
