Two-year-old boy dies in freak car window accident

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy was killed in a freak accident on Saturday after getting his head stuck in a partially opened window of a car door, at his home.

James Patrick Dunleavy, of Ballyfinnane, Firies, Co Kerry, is believed to have been standing on a toy tractor by the driver’s door as he tried to retrieve a toy from inside the parked car, at around 2pm.

However, the toy tractor is understood to have slipped from under him and he was left suspended from the window.
