Gas leak suspected as student found dead
Patrick Hughes, of Lower Aughrim, Moyvane, Listowel, Co Kerry, was found dead in a downstairs sitting room in the rented house, at 14 Racecourse Road, Tralee, whilst James Fitzgerald, also from Moyvane, was last night said to be in a stable condition at Kerry General Hospital, Tralee.
A third man, who was sleeping upstairs in the detached house, was not injured, but was in a state of shock yesterday. He had gone to bed and the others remained in the sitting room watching television.
