DUP set to pull ministers from NI Executive

TWO ministers were poised to quit the Northern Ireland power sharing executive last night as Ulster Unionists warned Prime Minister Tony Blair he has until Thursday to order Sinn Féin out of the Stormont administration.

Democratic Unionist Party sources confirmed their ministers Peter Robinson and Nigel Dodds will leave their posts tomorrow in a move designed to heighten pressure on First Minister David Trimble to pull his ministers out of the executive.

The move was timed to coincide with a meeting between Mr Trimble and Mr Blair at Downing Street today where he is expected to press the Government to expel Sinn Féin from the Northern Ireland Assembly.
