Government issue of credit cards raises hard questions
THE issuing of almost 300 credit cards to ministers, junior ministers, advisers and civil servants raises a number of serious questions.
While the Government insists the cards, which are funded by the taxpayer, are put to good use, it must be clarified just where official use ends and entertainment begins.
