Carrigaline’s main street in Cork was closed for the morning as one of the county’s biggest Wren Boy festivals began at 11am.

Dozens of Wren Boys wearing masks and dressed in weird and colourful costumes and wigs took to the streets as the South Union Hunt got underway.
