Principal set to shut school

A PRINCIPAL has threatened to close his school to draw the education minister’s attention to the building which he says is falling down around his ears.

Parents of pupils at the CBS Boys Primary School, New Ross, Co Wexford, withdrew their 190 children from the building last year in a one-day protest over the condition of classroom, toilets and play areas for kids.

However, they’ve been ignored in a new list of funding for priority renovations and new school projects.
