SUSPENDED An Post employees began to return to work last night after both sides in the postal dispute agreed to enter LRC talks aimed at resolving the dispute.

However, new differences between An Post management and the Communications Workers Union (CWU) emerged last night over the exact terms of the agreement brokered by the LRC to get both sides into talks.

CWU national officer Seán McDonagh said the union understood that, in addition to the reinstatement of 550 Dublin Mail Centre workers, 93 temporary workers who have had their contracts terminated would also be returned to employment.
