Call for multi-agency to tackle juvenile crime

Supt Frank O’Brien, who heads Roxboro Road garda district, was speaking after a group of youths as young as 13 appeared in court, following a reign of terror they wreaked in neighbourhoods on the Southside of the city.

A number have been placed in custody in different juvenile residential centres and others have been given bail on strict conditions which include signing on daily at garda stations and abiding by night time curfews.
