Kerry brothers to sing at White House lunch
The McCrohan brothers - Reggie, John and Stephen - known as the Kerry Tenors, are from Caherciveen and received confirmation of their invitation yesterday.
“This is certainly a great honour for us and we’re really looking forward to it,” said Reggie.
“We will be doing some of the Irish tenor repertoire, some classic American folk songs and some of Stephen Foster’s compositions.”
The brothers performed at last year’s All-Ireland football final in Croke Park and have made several TV appearances.
One of their next big appearances at home will be at the National Council of the Blind 75th anniversary concert at Liberty Hall, Dublin.
