Here comes the sun: summer sizzle set to banish drizzle
A hot, sunny spell is on the way, forecasters say, with temperatures edging towards 25 degrees in parts of the country from today until later this week. It’ll be excellent harvesting weather for farmers and a welcome reprieve for holiday-makers who have put up with a lot of rain in the past few days.
Today will be a warm and largely dry day with a mix of cloud and warm sunshine, Met Éireann says.
