THE Labour Party has called on the Government to introduce a maximum prices order for the drinks trade after some bars in Dublin increased prices by up to a euro during last Saturday’s rugby international at Lansdowne Road.

Spokeswoman Kathleen Lynch said: "This blatant profiteering is nothing short of exploitation of Irish people and visitors to this country who are over here to have a good time and enjoy themselves.

"On what was a great weekend for Ireland, this left a bitter taste.
