Students set fashion challenge for No Logo Day

DON’T be a slave to fashions made by those in the developing world, the Green Party urged yesterday.

Students are being set the challenge to create an outfit for less than €25 and cover up labels and logos on their clothing for one day.

The party hopes No Logo Day - to be held on Friday, March 31 - will highlight how fashions and advertising are putting consumers, especially parents, under pressure.
