Ahern and Harney: wasters, claims Labour’s war on waste campaign

LABOUR yesterday launched a “war on government waste”, claiming the coalition had thrown away e750 million of taxpayers’ money on flop projects.

Labour Leader Pat Rabbitte hit out at ministerial “incompetence” as he unveiled a new mobile advertising campaign.

The poster, to be carried across the country on special hoarding trucks, features a huge picture of Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Tánaiste Mary Harney next to the single word “wasters”.
