‘Every secondary school student should get a laptop’

EVERY secondary school student should be given a laptop so they can develop necessary technology skills, the Labour Party has said.

The party also wants a new Government department created to cater solely for communications and broadcasting issues.

These are two of the recommendations in a Labour strategy document aimed at addressing the low uptake of broadband in Ireland.
