A SCHOOL principal has been accused by Education Minister Mary Hanafin of issuing misleading information about future funding for his school.

Close to a thousand people joined a protest march through the streets of Waterford on Wednesday following claims from St Stephens De la Salle boys’ national school that the school was to lose its disadvantaged status.

Brother Martin, the school’s principal, was yesterday accused by Ms Hanafin of issuing misleading information to parents about the schools’ future disadvantaged status.
