Chris’s world starts turning again

‘YOU’RE Still Our Star’ was the clear-cut message on one of the many banners held aloft for Eurovision contestant, Chris Doran, last night as he received a hero’s welcome on his arrival in his native Waterford.

The monster welcome at the Walsh Park GAA grounds gave him a well-earned and much needed gee-up after the disappointment of finishing second last with just seven points in Saturday night's competition.

The banners, posters and signs said it all.
